Came across this a couple of days ago. I unironically like it. The fact that it’s a bit bad makes it better in my opinion. I can’t imagine enjoying a “perfect” rendition; I’d feel like it’s not paying respect. Also, this slightly relates to my previous couple of posts. That this nonsense can make me… feel… anything. If Chris-Chan can do it, I should be able to manage… right?
While we’re on the topic of Chris-Chan: He didn’t deserve the amount of suffering he went through. And I mean like 99% of it. What a train-wreck of situation, circumstances, incompetence, etc. I don’t care how “high-functioning”, he’s mentally disabled. “That doesn’t excuse–” No. Fuck you, it excuses a lot. And that’s just his nature, compound that with his nurture? It has my sympathy, all of it. F, man.
I fall asleep to Geno Samuel’s doc frequently. It’s a bit like having the TV on in the background and I’m sure his monotone voice has a bit to do with it, but there’s something more there. I’ll do the same, but significantly less so, with Nikocado Avocado’s videos. Is it an ego thing? Do they make me feel better about myself? Probable, but I don’t think it’s just that… I certainly hope it isn’t.
